Ann DeCamp
Ann DeCamp is a New Jersey based photographer who finds interesting forms, colors, patterns and compositions that express an emotional narrative. Ann specializes in nature related photography, especially where it taps into her long-standing interest in Botany. Ann grew up in Maryland in a wonderful, large family of 10. Her father, who had been a journalist in the 1940's, nurtured her interest in photography. After a successful 27-year career in the sciences as a PhD synthetic organic chemist, Ann decided to follow her ongoing artistic passion full time. Ann lives with her husband, 2 sons, 2 dogs and a large garden in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.
