Ann DeCamp is a New Jersey based photographer who finds interesting forms, colors, patterns and compositions in the natural world. Ann specializes in nature related photography, especially where it taps into her long-standing interest in Botany. Ann grew up in Maryland in a wonderful, large family of 10. Her father, who had been a journalist in the 1940's, nurtured her interest in photography. After a successful 27-year career in the sciences as a PhD synthetic organic chemist, Ann decided to follow her ongoing artistic passion full time. Ann lives with her husband, with whom she has two grown sons, and tends large flower garden in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.
